DESCRIPTION:Eat delicious pizza and support Eric’s cause all at the same time! Visit Parry’s at The Colony on Thursday\, March 10 or 17 and mention this fundraiser – 20% of your purchase will go to the American Heart Association\, and every dollar of that will help Eric towards winning the Teen of Impact Nomination.\n\nWestern Middle School Students who come on one of these two nights will have a chance to win some great prizes in a raffle!\n\nEric is one of 22 kids who has been nominated as a Southwest Teen of Impact for the American Heart Association’s inaugural 2022 selection class. Though Eric is actually not yet a teen\, he is honored by the nomination!\nThe Teen of Impact program is an opportunity for kids like Eric to gain life-changing experience\, skills\, and connections while furthering the mission of the American Heart Association.\n\nThe American Heart Association is important to Eric because he was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot which is basically four defects in one – including a hole between the heart chambers. This causes inefficient blood flow and low blood oxygen levels. In the old days\, kids with this condition didn’t usually live past age 5 or so. With today’s technology\, doctors were able to fix Eric’s heart when he was 4 months old. While Eric visits his cardiologist every year\, he can do anything he wants to do! Eric has played soccer\, hockey and basketball but right now he is really into skateboarding!\n\nFor 8 weeks beginning in February and continuing through April 7th\, Teens of Impact will compete to earn as many points as possible by completing activities that further the mission of the American Heart Association. These activities include fundraising\, taking charge of their health and advocating for important issues\, such as mental wellbeing\, physical fitness\, and healthy eating.\n\nThe teen who brings their network together to create the largest impact will be named the 2022 Teen of Impact. Help Eric achieve this through supporting his fundraiser at Parry’s The Colony on March 10 & 17!
