Jamile is a vocalist, composer, and educator who has become one of the most sought after voices in the New York jazz scene. Her performances blend modern and Brazilian jazz, and her studio albums have earned millions of streams with high praise from critics and fans alike.
She has performed at Mezzrow, Smalls Jazz Club, Birdland, and Dizzy’s Club. In 2023, she opened for Rosa Passos, Kenny Barron, and Ron Carter. Jamile and her quartet will be live at Windmills for two nights this August.
