RC & The Gritz is an R&B/Soul/Hip - Hop Supergroup AKA Erykah Badu’s touring band. The group is made up of a diverse mix of musicians from across Texas. Led by RC, Erykah Badu’s Music Director and core member of her electronic production group, the Cannabinoids.

The Buena Vista Orchestra, presented by SSK Music, is the world’s leading Cuban music repertory ensemble, featuring musicians from the Buena Vista Social Club, AfroCuban All Stars, and bands of legends like Celia Cruz and Omara Portuondo.

Join us as we continue our International Jazz Day celebrations alongside award-winning trumpeter Benny Benack III and the Fun O’Clock Combo. Rooted in community and education, this special evening will feature local music students and friends joining Benny onstage for the second half of the performance.

Prasanna, widely known as Guitar Prasanna, is a globally acclaimed pioneer of performing Carnatic classical music on electric guitar. Trained in the traditional Guru-Shishya system, he has earned major honors, including a Lifetime Achievement Award and IIT Madras’ Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Extended Play takes over the Corona Stage & Lawn on Thursday, May 14 from 7:00-9:00pm! Extended Play will you get you dancing to disco, top40, classic rock, and so much more! 

The University of North Texas Jazz Singers is the premier vocal jazz ensemble within the Division of Jazz Studies at the College of Music. Under the direction of Jennifer Barnes, the group features fourteen vocalists and a five-piece rhythm section performing a challenging and diverse repertoire, including works by current students, alumni, and faculty.
