DALLAS, TX (July 11, 2018) – When the Grandscape project was announced in 2013, the vision was to create a one-of-a-kind mixed use development anchored by Nebraska Furniture Mart and other unique retailers and featuring a spectacular assortment of dining and entertainment attractions along with office and residential opportunities. Today’s announcement demonstrates the developer’s commitment to making that ambitious vision into reality.
Even though only partially complete, Grandscape is seeing approximately 8 million visitors each year. Nebraska Furniture Mart, only open a few years, is pleased with the continued growth year over year. Luxury Living Comes to Grandscape
Lanoha Development Company is thrilled to announce a new luxury residential for-rent living experience. Live Grandscape will include 345 units, in its first phase, consisting of, studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments and 2 penthouse suites. Construction is already underway on the 419,000+ sf tower, with leasing and move-in dates slated for 2020.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse Spring 2020
Famed Author, Chef and Restaurateur Steve DiFillippo is bringing his critically acclaimed Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse to Grandscape. With only 10 locations, mainly located in the East, this will be the first location in the state of Texas. The menu showcases everything from aged steaks to simple-yet-unique seafood creations all of which are handmade using the finest ingredients. Combine the expertly crafted meals with attentive dining room staff with a focus on hospitality, guests are sure to enjoy their time at Davio’s.
Seven Doors at Montecito Grill In Early Fall 2019
Seven Doors Hospitality & Dianna Lynn Productions latest addition to its hospitality group (Humboldt, Via Baci, The Rialto Cafe & Blue Island Oyster Bar) announces “Seven Doors at Montecito Grill” an original concept at the Grotto in Grandscape opening for lunch & dinner daily in early fall of 2019.
Seven Doors at Montecito Grill will be approximately 8,000 square feet with 350 seats including outdoor seating and a private dining area. By masterfully mixing and layering historic architectural elements with contemporary design touches, Seven Doors promises to deliver a delightfully unexpected dining experience.
With a motto of “honest food, done right,” Seven Door’s chef reinterprets ordinary classics into extraordinary entrees. Offering seasonal fresh salads & small plates as well as natural steaks and burgers.
Barley and Board Opening 2019
Barley & Board is a gastropub, influenced by seasonal and fresh, high-quality ingredients in harmony with hand-crafted brews. Founded in Denton, Texas, Grandscape will be the second location for this local hotspot.
The restaurant is the culmination of creativity, hard work, and tenacity from a team whose driving force is centered on community, craft, and collaboration. The menu showcases a New-American style cuisine, offering an array of small and large plates. Featuring a full bar that includes 36 beers on tap, which highlight Texas breweries, this fine gastropub offers in-house brews as well as a nice selection of wines and hand-crafted cocktails.

Kilwins Opening Summer 2019
With over 120 unique locations, Kilwins is a sweet tooth’s dream. The 1600 sf store will feature a full line of Chocolates, with “Extraordinary Everyday” Truffles being the foundation of that assortment. They carry dozens of fine Chocolates today, all made in their Chocolates Kitchen in Petoskey, MI. They also carry “Original Recipe” Ice Cream, Caramels and Caramel Apples, Fudges, Chocolate-Dipped items and Caramel Corn & Brittle, many based on recipes developed by Don and Katy Kilwin in the 1940’s. Today, Kilwins also carries their own Salt Water taffy Chews, Gourmet Cake & Ice Cream, award-winning Ice Cream Toppings, and a full Sea-Salt Caramels line.
Kilwins store will stock over 300 products, plus a few hundred seasonal items, like Valentine’s Hearts, Chocolate Easter Bunnies, Pumpkin Pie Fall Ice Cream, Christmas Stocking Stuffers, etc. Every store makes independent decisions as to what they wish to carry, based on regional preferences. Employees will craft Kilwins confections in each store, right in front of your eyes.
Kilwins is a friendly, warm, inviting and individualized place, where locals and tourists alike want to come to experience firsthand the wonderful world of sweet treats. VCC Construction to Open Office
Little Rock, AR. based construction firm VCC is announcing the lease of 14,603 sf of office space in the Grandscape development. The company plans to open the office in the spring of 2019 with 40 employees. The VCC culture is built on communication. Consequently, their office atmosphere reflects this with an open door policy and a multitude of opportunities for team collaboration. Prior to this move, VCC had been in the same space in Dallas for 16 years. The Grandscape move is strategic for VCC, setting the stage for the next phase of growth for the company in the DFW metroplex. This will be the company’s 10th office in the United States.
