American Petty takes over the Corona Stage & Lawn on Thursday, November 19 from 7:00–9:00pm. Everyone remembers the huge catalog of beautifully crafted songs, the unique and outrageous videos broadcasted on MTV and the wonderfully whimsical personality of Tom Petty. But, where Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gained their lasting popularity and 40 year plus career was in their live performances. To see a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers live show was an unforgettable experience! Every Petty live show was just a little different guided by the audience energy that Tom and the band fed off of and gave back as a completely unique ONE of ONE live performance every single show.
American Petty strives to recreate those spontaneous live performances with the look, instrumentation, tones, spot on renditions, enthusiasm and energy only seasoned musicians well versed in the Petty catalog of music can pull off. From American Girl to If I Were King to Refugee to Don’t Come Around Here No More…American Petty recreates the Petty catalog of hits and deep tracks as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had presented them live to their faithful audiences!
